GoMining Cuts Instant Funds Fees, Making Stablecoin Access Cheaper for Bitcoin Holders and Miners
Bitcoin mining platform GoMining has reduced fees for its Instant Funds service, allowing users to access stablecoin liquidity using Bitcoin or digital miners as collateral without selling their assets.
The updated fee structure lowers the maximum service fee from 2.5% to 2%, while the minimum remains at 1.5%, depending on a user’s VIP status. The new rates take effect immediately for new positions and will also apply to existing positions when they automatically renew.
The move is aimed at making short-term liquidity more affordable for Bitcoin holders and mining participants who want access to funds while maintaining exposure to their underlying assets.
Accessing Stablecoins Without Selling Bitcoin
Instant Funds allows GoMining users to obtain USDT or USDC by pledging Bitcoin or digital miners as collateral. Rather than liquidating their holdings to access cash-equivalent digital assets, users can retain ownership of their collateral while receiving stablecoins for other purposes.
The service operates on 30-day terms with automatic renewal. A one-time service fee applies to each term, with rates determined by the user’s VIP level.
Under the revised pricing, fees range between 1.5% and 2%, compared with the previous range of 1.5% to 2.5%.
Importantly, the reduction is not limited to new customers. Existing Instant Funds users will automatically receive the updated pricing when their current positions renew, without needing to close and reopen them.
The change comes as crypto platforms continue developing ways for digital asset holders to access liquidity without selling their investments.
Mining Hashrate as Collateral
One of Instant Funds’ distinguishing features is its support for Bitcoin mining hashrate as collateral, rather than relying exclusively on conventional cryptocurrencies.
GoMining’s digital miners represent mining power backed by physical Bitcoin mining equipment. These assets generate daily Bitcoin rewards, providing users with ongoing exposure to mining activity without requiring them to operate hardware themselves.
Through Instant Funds, users can pledge their digital miners to access stablecoins while the underlying mining activity continues.
Unlike arrangements that require users to give up an income-generating asset, digital miners used as collateral continue producing Bitcoin rewards, which accrue to their owners throughout the position’s term.
Users who pledge digital miners can access up to 30% of their value, with positions starting at just $5. According to GoMining, stablecoins are typically credited to a user’s account balance in approximately one minute.
This model provides an additional use case for tokenized mining power, allowing users to unlock liquidity from their mining assets while preserving their ongoing Bitcoin rewards.
“Bitcoin hashrate produces value every day, and we believe it should also give its owners flexibility when they need it. With Instant Funds, users can access stablecoins without selling their miners or interrupting their mining. Lowering the fee makes that option more accessible, for new users and for everyone already using the feature,” said Vitalii Dudik, General Manager of Money Services at GoMining.
Expanding Financial Utility for Bitcoin Miners
The fee reduction reflects GoMining’s broader efforts to expand the financial utility of Bitcoin and digital mining assets beyond traditional mining rewards.
By combining Bitcoin-backed liquidity with collateralized mining power, Instant Funds offers users an alternative to selling their holdings when they need short-term access to stablecoins.
The lower fees may be particularly relevant for users who regularly renew their positions, as the reduced pricing applies to each new 30-day term.
However, the service is not without risks. Collateral pledged through Instant Funds may be subject to liquidation, and the applicable conditions differ depending on whether users provide Bitcoin or digital miners as collateral.
Users should review the service’s Terms of Use, including liquidation conditions and renewal fees, before opening a position.
Instant Funds is available through the GoMining app in supported regions, with the revised fee structure now applying to new positions and upcoming renewals.
